Prof. Muse is asking the permission from Mr. Tesefaye the sport commisionor of the Ethiopian govt. in mid 80′s, to let the runners to participate in road races in Europe. In the communist reign it was not allowed to run in the capitals of western countries. His brave decision cost him his post, but paved the road to today’s results of Ethiopian runners.
